On Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 the Whittington Valley Neighborhood Association held its Fall Potluck Picnic in Baseball Trail Park.  Aided by picture perfect weather, the well-attended event offered Association members, friends and neighbors the opportunity to enjoy great food and partake of excellent company.  The Association provided hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks.  Many attendees brought a side dish or dessert to share with their friends and neighbors. As you can see below, the dessert table was especially well stocked.

Special thanks goes to WVNA Vice President John Lewis for working the barbecue grill and for our friends over in the Park Avenue Community Association who came over and joined with us.

WVNA Vice President John Lewis
(aka "the Grill Master") proved a maestro with the barbecue, loading the grill with hot dogs and hamburgers, managed the flames all the while entertaining picnic goers with a smile and his abundant good humor.

Association President Mark Toth again made a crockpot of baked beans topped with an "island" of melted cheddar cheese.
Yum!

The potluck included
a tasty fresh salad.

Association member Verna Linder brought her
"famous" double chocolate brownies.
As you might expect, the picnic goers quickly
devoured the brownies.

The pecan blondies also proved very popular.
